Information for Parents

At BeachBreak, your child is in good hands. All our instructors are SLSA Lifeguard and ISA/ASI surf coach (or equivalent) certified, and our guides have pedagogical training (HALO or CIOS) and experience with children.

Location and times (Day Camp)

The Day Camp takes place at the watersports center BeachBreak, Zeereep 106 in Noordwijk (exit 21, 200 m to the right). You can bring your child in the morning between 09:00 and 09:30 and pick them up again between 17:00 and 17:30. The activities mainly take place on the beach and the promenade, and sometimes in the dunes or at another location. At our own watersports center with restaurant and pavilion, the children can warm up and relax.

Camp&Stay

The Camp&Stay program is for participants aged 10 to 16. Check-in is possible on Sunday between 17:00 and 17:30 at our Surfcamp (location Scouting Norvicus, within cycling distance from the water sports center). The camp ends on Friday at 14:00. The participants sleep in tents for a real camping atmosphere, with dormitories as an option in case of bad weather. The location has renovated toilets and showers, a professional kitchen, and a cozy spot with a fire pit.

Insurance

We recommend that you take out travel insurance with coverage for water sports before departure; standard policies often exclude water sports. Bring your proof of insurance on the first day.
